VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

International High School offers community members the opportunity to give back by volunteering to work with the best students from around the world. See which of the following volunteer opportunity works best for you.

In-Classroom Volunteers

As a classroom assistant, volunteers work with students in class to help improve reading comprehension, writing ability and increase understanding of subjects more difficult as an English language learner.

After School Workshops + Programs

Are you a yoga teacher, guitar or drum instructor, artist or personal trainer looking for a rewarding way to give back to the community? Do you have a unique skill to offer to our students? We would love to have you! We are looking to expand our students' access to community resources and fun activities.

After School Tutoring

Volunteers will provide general home work support for students in various subject areas. Tutoring Center hours are Tuesday-Thursday from 4:30 to 6:30.

Student Mentorship

Volunteers will be matched with individual students to provide supportive guidance. Mentors meet with their student regularly to be a role model and encourage academic success.
